• Hi there,

Every few days I am seeing the below error in my PHP log and wondered if anyone can help with that?

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) in /wp-content/plugins/query-monitor/classes/Backtrace.php on line 92

    Context
    URL /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wordfence_doScan&isFork=0&scanMode=custom&cronKey=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    HTTP Method GET
    ajaxAction wordfence_doScan
    Current Filter wp_ajax_nopriv_wordfence_doScan

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the message. This isn’t so much a conflict, rather than an issue where Wordfence performs a resource intensive operation or uses a lot of memory, which in turn causes QM to use a lot of memory logging its information.

You can try increasing the memory limit on your server, or disable QM when you do a Wordfence scan.

    Hi John,

Thanks. I don’t think I can increase memory further, or control when Wordfence does it’s scans as they are automatic. I thought that QM is only active for logged in admin in the WP console anyway? For now I have disabled QM, which is a shame. Thanks again
