    Hi kiat87,

    thanks for reaching out.

    1. If you want to remove all options and ads then enable “Delete data on uninstall” under Advanced Ads > Settings > General before removing the plugin.

    2. I am pretty sure that Advanced Ads does not manipulate the customizer iframe. There is no such code in our plugin and the screenshot does also not show that it is coming from Advanced Ads.

There have been numerous reports about page builders not working with AdSense anymore. This seems to be a problem also without using any ad plugin so the issue might be of a general nature.

I am able to reproduce but not fix it since the issue is thrown by the AdSense code.

If you see a relation to the plugin then please let me know.

    Best regards,
    Thomas

I’m having the exac same problem here, and I’m using Advanced Ads. It’s causing that problem with customizer and Elementor. If I use my browser in incognito mode this doesn’t happen, pointing me to think it really is something with ads.

Yes, that really is the problem. Advanced Ads is only involved because it places the ads, but any other ad plugin or even manually placed ads can cause this, too.

Yes, you’re right @webzunft, it’s probably something caused by Google Ads. I figured out that it’s only occurring on Chrome (normal/anonymous tab) and Firefox (normal), but using Firefox in anonymous window the error didn’t occur.

But, we have this error in console while in customizer:

uncaught exception: TagError: adsbygoogle.push() error: No slot size for availableWidth=0

Searching trough the web, I guess we can tell that’s something related to how the code is triggered: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/33465168/google-adsense-error-tagerror-adsbygoogle-push-error-no-slot-size-for-avail

Maybe the adsbygoogle.push() is been triggered before the <iframe> with the preview page has been loaded? (just an assumption)

uncaught exception: TagError: adsbygoogle.push() error: No slot size for availableWidth=0

That error is displayed if the element the ad is placed in is too narrow. It could be related to the current problem but also to the theme. I was able to reproduce one issue with AdSense and the Customizer and it did not give me that warning, so I don’t think it is the general cause.

Btw., @allysonsouza if you want to discuss this further then please open a new thread. Discussing individual issues in a single thread is actually against the forum guidelines.

    Thanks,

Sorry man, I know the guidelines very well, since I’m a moderator of Brazilian forum for almost 5 years – I wasn’t trying to change the purpose of the thread, I’m trying to add more info and insights to it, I’m having the same problem. But since I’m using Advanced Ads Pro, I’ll try to reach the customer support trough the site.

    Thanks

I am going to release a new version of Advanced Ads today which takes care of this problem. It is an issue caused by AdSense, but I might have found a nice way to use the Customizer and Elementor with AdSense enabled.

    Thomas

PS: @allysonsouza thanks for understanding. Feel free to reach out in customer support any time.

I updated to the new version of Advanced Ads and it’s still causing the Customizer to not show anything in the viewing area. TYIZ

@tammya1999 please check the screenshot in this thread. Are you not seeing the placeholder instead of an AdSense ad now?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,

I’m not seeing a screenshot on that thread.

@tammya1999 It is linked in the text ??

No. My ads never did stop working with a blank area.

When you say Customizer, I thought you meant when you want to customize WordPress you click Customizer.

@tammya1999 if you feel that there is something not working then please open a new thread here. I believe the major problem is solved and the original poster here should not be included in our direct conversation. I am happy to see what is not working in your case though.

    Thomas

Hi @webzunft, I have the same problem. Has anyone found the solution to solve the problem? By removing the plugin (advanced ads) and the manual adsense code, everything works perfectly ???♂?.

    Thanks.
