  • Interesting. I noticed after I updated the SEO plugin that my facebook likes counter loads slower than before, but the icons still shows up. Perhaps that’s related as well.

Still broken with the latest plugin update. Worked fine in the past.

    Hello,

Some plugins like “YOAST” conflicts with ShareThis WP plugin and doesn’t allow them to appear on the posts.
We have escalated this to our Engineering team. They are working on priority to resolve the issue and will be fixed soon.

For now, here is a workaround –

If you have installed “YOAST” plugin on your WordPress site then –
Please update the sharethis settings for wordpress from here:
    https://YOUR_WEBSITE_URL/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_social&settings-updated=true

Yoast (Shows up as WordPress SEO once installed)

Under “Social” —> Facebook tab —> uncheck “Add Open Graph meta data”
Under “Social” —> Twitter tab —> uncheck “Add Twitter card meta data”

    and then Save the Settings.

Thanks for your patience and for using ShareThis!

I tried changing the Yoast settings like you recommend, but this hasn’t helped. The ShareThis plugin itself doesn’t seem to be operating correctly.

I go to the settings and get nothing but a blank area after it tries to load.

    Hi,

Apologies for the inconvenience. We went ahead and issued a new release (v. 7.0.4). This is up now. This release should resolve the issue.

We really appreciate the quick feedback. Thanks again for your patience and for using ShareThis!
