There seems to be a conflict with EWWW Version: 7.7.0 and WooCommerce PDF Voucher Version 3.12.3 in that if EWWW is active the background image used in a PDF Voucher template is not rendered in the PDF.

If EWWW is disabled the Voucher background image is visible and rendered correctly in the PDF

    Hi neilgee,

Can you share the system info from the support tab of the EWWW IO plugin settings so I can see what functions you are using? I’m curious if it’s related to lazy load or WebP perhaps? Can you try disabling either of those and seeing if it fixes the issue. If disabling lazy load fixes it, you can put an exception for pdfs in the exclusions box.

You can share the system info via a pastebin link or directly to us here: https://ewww.io/contact-us/

WebP was inactive by default and toggling LazyLoad off didn’t seem to fix – here is the system info – https://pastebin.com/Bzx7YtKx

Wild. Really, as you are on a server that doesn’t have exec() enabled, it shouldn’t be doing anything (it isn’t allowed to and there isn’t anything to do it anyway).

So this is a bit of wild one. I think the best thing to try next is to generate a debug log when you generate the PDF voucher. To do this:

    1. Go to the support tab of EWWW IO and click on the Debugging and save.
    2. Go back to the support tab and click on the link that says “Clear Log”
    3. Go and generate a PDF voucher as you normally would
    4. Go back to the support tab and click on Download Log
    5. Uncheck the box for debugging and save
    6. Send the log over to us with the name of the PDF and if you know it the name of the background image on the PDF.

As I haven’t heard anything back about this, I’m going to resolve this thread. If you have any other questions or further questions about this issue, please feel free to open a new one.
