• Resolved MBWD

    (@mbwd)

This plugin appears to have been the source of a conflict that prevented me from logging into the admin panel of the site on which it was installed, which is running a child theme of Avada. The site itself was running fine, and no downtime or connection errors were given by Jetpack or ManageWP. On visiting the main page, I was seeing the admin bar, and my name was showing in the top right corner, as if I was already logged in. But clicking on Dashboard or any other link in the admin toolbar gave me a 500 error. I was able to hit /wp-admin, but after entering my credentials, I also received the 500 error. Removing the plugins one by one showed me that Events Manager was the source of the trouble, and deactivating it immediately resolved the issue.

  • Which version of Events Manager and WordPress are you using?

Do you get the same problem if you test while running the default WordPress and with all other plugins except Events Manager running?
