Conflicting Dashboard and Settings Info on Site Kit

    Hi,

    I installed the Site Kite weeks ago and it all went smoothly. However, today, I got this conflicting status on Site Kit.

    On the Dashboard, it says “Error Connecting Site Kit.” Of course, it doesn’t show data for key metrics, traffic, speed, and content. There is a “Redo the plugin setup” green button, and so I clicked it, but it shows Bad Request – invalid parameter: ‘site_id’

    On the other hand, when I click the Site Kit Setting, I am CONNECTED to Search Console, Analytics, PageSpeed Insights, and Tags Manager. They’re all green.

    I tried Installing the Health Check plugin and troubleshooted the Site Kit plugin. I followed the Troubleshooting Mode, but to no avail.

    Is it ok to delete the Site Kit and do it all over again? Or is there another way I could do without deleting it?

The first thing you can try here and is something we have seen work for this specific issue would be a Site Kit reset. Could you please follow the steps here to reset and setup once more. Do you still see the issue?
