HI there, can you please help us to understand about the colour ratings, when we are in a product we see the colour rating as red but then when we view the product on front end and still logged in the admin its green.

Does yoast rate content differently on front end compared to being in the page and editing content?

Note that we also use custom attributes that yoast does not detect in admin.

    Example
Description which we enter into the editor is recognized.

But specifications, FAQs and downloads which are advanced fields are not recognized in admin.

Is it possible that yoast is recognizing all of the content that we have on the front end?

    Hello @malhyp9

Could you please confirm you are using the latest version of WordPress 5.4.1 and Yoast SEO for WordPress 14.3? If not, please do update the plugin and see if this resolves the issue.

The SEO and Readability score on the products overview page, and when you edit the product itself should be the same.

If you were to edit a specific product, save the changes (without making any changes), and then go back to the products overview page, does the score then update or does it still appear differently? Perhaps you could also try clearing all of your browser’s cache as well — https://yoast.com/help/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/

HI Michael thanks for your reply, please see attached screen shot.

I understand what you mean about cache though Im not sure that its the case as the following example I have never gone into that page BUT I have gone into other pages.

    Hello @malhyp9

Thank you for getting back to us. So, just to clarify from your dropbox attachment, this is all for 1 product:

    • In the product overview, the SEO score is GREEN and the Readability is RED.
    • When you edit the page, the top bar score is ORANGE.
    • However, when viewing the preview or page itself on the front end, the top bar score is GREEN.
    • And finally, when scrolling down to the Yoast SEO meta box, the SEO score is ORANGE, and the Readability is RED.
    • Is this correct?

We’re sorry that you are experiencing problems that might be caused by our plugin!

Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process:?How to check for plugin conflicts.
