I found your WP Dark Mode plugin via the recent write-up for it on WPBeginner. I now have it installed on all six of my blogs and LOVE IT.

    So, thanks!

Now, I have version 1.0.9 installed and am ready to update to version 1.2.0.

The 1.2.0 plugin states, “Compatibility with WordPress 5.5.1: 100% (according to its author).”

But the New Version 1.2.0 Details has this warning: “This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.”

    So, which is it?

    Keep on keepin’ on!

    Hello @nealumphred
Thanks for using the WP Dark Mode plugin.
The issue is a little bit different you are talking about.
On the plugin install page on the admin side of your website, you can find that it is showing that the plugin is compatible with your current WordPress version.
    https://prntscr.com/uv4xud

Even you can see that on the www.ads-software.com plugin page the plugin is sowing tested up to the latest WordPress version.
    https://prntscr.com/uv4yxz

But, only on the plugin information page, the notice is showing that the plugin is not compatible with the current version.
    https://prntscr.com/uv4y9x

And the notice is not showing always. It showing sometimes.
That’s why we think the issue is not a big deal and the notice is caused by www.ads-software.com. There is no issue with the plugin.
