Conflicting with the wordpress toolbar (admin bar) on mobile devices

Something within the code that displays the sharing buttons is causing the wordpress toolbar to detach from the top of the page and float down the page, with in turn is causing navigation menu to be covered over. This only happens when the page is accessed from a mobile device such as an iphone, and the site is a wordress multisite with buddypress installed.
