Conflicting with WP Subtitle

Here’s what happened with me:

First, I installed WP Subtitle and it didn’t display the sub title even after I added their code in my single.php.

I uninstalled their WP Subtitle and then deleted the custom field created by it, and then save it to make sure the custom field was actually gone.

Then I installed Subtitles (this plugin) and added my sub title. Although it’s appearning on my posts, but I can see a duplicate title and subtitle above the header too.

I have no idea what’s going on.

I’d appreciate some advice!
