    Hi there,

I’ve been using the plugin for some years now. I have experienced problems with consistency. Sometimes the XML had issues and sometimes not. The issues included (duplicates of products, missing products, refresh issues, timeouts, not following rules and filters, etc)
I have managed to create adjusted XMLs to combat these issues and had a semi-consistent result. In the graph view, the product total jumped up and down for no apparent reason. I suspect it has to do with cron and server timeouts…

Recently I updated my caching to the new SG Optimizer plugin with Cloudflare Workers enabled (I’m hosting at SiteGround) and the plugin seems to fail completely. The /uploads/product-feed-pro folder that contains the XMLs excluded from the cache. Going back to WP Rocket is not an option for me due to the huge difference in performance I have now.

By disabling Cloudflare Workers I managed to make it work by manually refreshing, stoping the refresh, and refreshing again to get a correct XML. Otherwise, the auto-refresh returns from 3 to 10 times the product size (duplicates) and doesn’t contain all products.
I tried messing with batch sizes from 200 to 3000 but got variations of the issues described above. (small batch size = more duplicates, high batch sizes = more excluded products)

I’ve considered moving to a paid plugin due to countless hours of troubleshooting over the years and with the recent issues I described and having tried everything in the past days it seems I don’t have another choice.

Do you have knowledge of conflicts between the plugin and SG Optimizer / Cloudflare Workers? Can you help in any way?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the plugin. Unfortunately we have no experience ourselves with Cloudflare Workers nor with SG Optimizer so we would not know if and how they might interfere with our plugin and how possible configuration changes in those plugins can solve the issue at hand.

Since you mention you are able to refresh the feeds manually when Cloudflare Workers is disabled I suggest you reach out their support asking what could possibly cause this in their plugin and how to possibly solve it.

Unfortunately there is not much we can do to help you out at this stage. When you get more possible reasons from Cloudflare and as a result we need to make some changes to our plugin then please let us know.

    Hi,

Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved or our support is no longer needed I am going to close this topic for housekeeping reasons now. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us again whenever you need our help.
