Conflict with Sonaar MP3 Player

  • Hi Bento Team,

    I’m on (last versions available) WP 5.3.2, Bento 2.4 with SiteOrigin PB 2.10.13 and using Sonaar MP3 Player 1.4.1

    It looks like Bento theme conflicts with the Player plugin.
    After plugin activation, there is no way to access the plugin’s settings page. I get instead the “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page” warning.

    Desactivation plugins, clearing caches and cleaning DB did not change anything.

    I finally did a WP 5.3.2 clean instal (localhost) with just the MP3 Player plugin and the Bento, WP 2020 and Vantage (SiteOrigin compatible) themes :
    – WP 2020 and Vantage themes : OK
    – Bento theme : Cannot access the plugin’s settings page.

    The workaround so far is to activate Vantage theme, open the Player plugin settings page, save changes and revert to Bento.

    If you had a clue to make things more straightforward, that would be much appreciated!
