When somebody has created an account etc when logged in to my site should they be seeing the WordPress logo / house and bar that goes across the top of the screen?

I am looking for a login system that just has returning customers logging in at the checkout page – but not the WordPress side or let’s them have anything to do with the WordPress dashboard etc- hope that makes sense?

Also in the confirmation email; the email address is given as the user name?

    Hi,

Yes, as soon as an account is created the user is logged into your site and the WP admin bar will appear. This is the also the standard behaviour of EDD, or even WP for that matter. If you don’t want customers to access the WP admin, or see the bar along the top there are plugins to remove it here on the repo. There’s also a plugin called Peter’s login redirect which may be handy.

Yes, the email address of the customer is used as the WP login. This is so the customer does not have to enter any details at checkout. Also, the email is unique to the customer. Does that help?
