Confused About "Seeks" and "Member" Data

    I guess I am having one of those “dumb” days because I am confused about what exactly is supposed to be placed in the fields for the “Seeks” and “Member” sections.

    The sample data, of course, gives me an idea but I want to be confident I am doing it correctly.

    So … Seeks Name, URL, and description are those of my business, yes?

    What throws me is “Member does just that it states you are a member of this website/organization.” … by “this organization” I assume you mean my organization not The Microdata Project?”

    Aaron,

    For both seeks and demand you could use your website, but the best practice is to use a different website to share Microdata. As you are obviously a member of your own site and seek your own site/products.

    Can you please better clarify what Seek and Member are for? the descriptions you gave are confusing.

    Do you have any evidence that just linking to those two sites will help our seo?
