Confused and Unable to connect to adsense through Site Kit.

A month back I successfully connected website “indianconstructioninfo.com” with adsense through Site kit and applied for monetization. But it wasn’t approved.
In this month, I made the necessary changes to the website and tried to submit again through adsense but when I looked into the adsense account there I didn’t saw my website which was previously added and showing “fix now” option.

So to connect the website, I tried to visit my G-site kit plugin again and there got an error (I am not remembering exact error, but due to that Site kit wasn’t displaying any data of analytics, search console, page insight ).

So I reset the plugin. After reset, It successfully got connected to analytics, console, page insight. But when I try to connect website to adsense, it display a message as below:

    “Your account is getting ready
Site Kit has placed AdSense code on every page across your site. After you’ve finished setting up your account, we’ll let you know when your site is ready to show ads. This usually takes less than a day, but it can sometimes take a bit longer.

Go to your AdSense account to check on your site’s status or to complete setting up”

Now When I visit my adsense account, and if I directly tap on the sites tab on right menu bar, it shows my site name and says “getting ready” with following ”

“`Getting your site ready to show ads
Please bear with us! This usually takes a few days, but in some cases can take up to 2 weeks. We’ll notify you as soon as we’ve run some checks on your site.

Make sure you don’t remove your site and resubmit it because this can delay the process.

In the meantime, place the code on every page you want ads to appear. After our checks are complete, your site will be ready to show ads.

Remember to go to Ads and choose the ad formats you want to show.

Learn more about when you can show ads`”

But on same adsense when I tap on Home tab on left menu, and select third option “thanks for connecting site” and enter through “view details”, it takes me to next page which ask me to paste html code on every page to display ads & since site kit already pasted code for me I directly press “Request review” option but then it says “something went wrong”

also when I check settings of Google Site Kit to see the connections, it says not connected with adsense.

I am totally confused to understand whether I have successfully connected & submitted my website for adsense approval or not.

    Hi @sonu0293,

As you’re site is not yet approved, you don’t need to revisit the AdSense platform, or follow any suggestions to place ad code on your site. Site Kit inserts ad code for users on their site. I can understand the confusion, in particular if you try to connect you site once more from the AdSense platform directly. All that is required is to wait for the AdSense team to review your site application.

Once you site is approved, ads will start to appear on your site. You’re site is in review, based on the “Getting your site ready to show ads” message, so no action is required at present.

    @jamesosborne Thanks for your reply,

    One more thing…
    1. on adsense where I am getting the message :

    “Your account is getting ready
Site Kit has placed AdSense code on every page across your site. After you’ve finished setting up your account, we’ll let you know when your site is ready to show ads. This usually takes less than a day, but it can sometimes take a bit longer. ”

    Its already almost a day.

    2. Also, is it ok if I am currently seeing on google site kit plugin setting that adsense is not connected.

    3. Why on site kit it says “it usually takes 1 day” and on adsense it says “few days”? I am confused whether both refer to the same action or both are different.

Kindly reply for these 3 points
    Thanks

    Hi @sonu0293,

See below answers to your queries.

    Its already almost a day.

Unfortunately we in the Site Kit plugin support can’t speed up the process. It’s not uncommon to take a couple of weeks at times. Getting your site reviewed within a day would be ideal, however this is not something we can control.

    2. Also, is it ok if I am currently seeing on google site kit plugin setting that adsense is not connected.

Yes, this is normal. You won’t have a “Connected” status until your site is approved.

    3. Why on site kit it says “it usually takes 1 day” and on adsense it says “few days”? I am confused whether both refer to the same action or both are different.

Good point. I will discus this with the team. Note however that this may be due to changes on the AdSense side, I’m unsure. I am aware previously that sites didn’t have to be manually approved, and then there may have been further changes.

As your site is in the review stage I’ll close this support topic. Thanks for reaching out, and hopefully you won’t have to wait too long for a site review.

GOOGLE Adsense appears to me as not connected in google site Kit here in wordpress but in google adsense on your page it appears that everything is fine, what is wrong?

    Hi @mancilla41,

If you’d like to open an individual support topic we can look into your case and work with you from there.

Assuming you have an approved AdSense account and your site has been approved please also share your Site Health information, referencing your own individual support topic. That way we can check the status, which is output in this information.

I believe everything is ok with my website, Site kit & adsense. I will wait for it to be connected as directed by you.
