Confused on how to Use

{{quote_title}} is what is used in the template area of Daily Quotes plugin.

1) Make sure you have created 366 quotes (or create at least 10 quotes and check the box to repeat).

2) Make sure you visit “Settings” menu and at least click “Save“. This will add the default quote template (although you are free to change it to your liking).

3) To display ONLY on your home page you can place the widget on just a homepage area OR use the shortcode for quote area. To find this click “Edit Quote” next to the quote area you want. On that page look for “Daily Section Shortcode:” and there will be a shortcode something like [cw_daily_quotes cw_ds_id=”1″] which you need to add to an area that just appears on your homepage.

Did you get your issue resolved?

I was actually using this as a news and events plugin because I couldn’t find one I liked for that feature. I misunderstood the 366 box option. I thought by checking that I could place as few quotes as I wanted. I had only two news announcements. Unfortunately I gave up on this plugin too soon and moved onto another one. I’ll give it another try at a later date. Thanks for your replies.
