• Hello,

It was three year that I firstly noted GTM4WP. For now, there are already 60 activated download, congratulations and thanks:)

Sorry, I am strictly following your tutorial, and there is something make me confused When I view the tutorial upon GA4 setup at https://gtm4wp.com/how-to-articles/how-to-setup-enhanced-ecommerce-tracking-google-analytics-4-ga4-version

In Step 0, you show a way of adding a new “Google Analytics 4 configuration tag ” by entering “Google Analytics 4 measurement ID“. This step is usually in the “Default Workspace”, right?

If yes, in Step 1, there is description: We highly recommend to create a new workspace during the import process.”

So, we got two workspace, one is default Wordspace, and another is Custom gtm4wp Workspace, and please check the screenshot:

    https://prnt.sc/nE0gMD8yQVmO

In Step 2, there is description:

    • In Step 0, you either already had a “Google Analyitcs 4: GA4 configuration tag” or you created it while going through the steps
    • Open the “GA4 – Event – Ecommerce events” tag that has been just created in Step 1
    • Open the list in the Configuration Tag drop down

But when I check the Configuration Tag, there is no Tag, and please check the screenshot:

    https://prnt.sc/Z8_dZ4fhquZi

I mean there is no Google Analytics 4 configuration tag in the list that created in Step 0.

    So, question please:

1# It seems that Google Analytics 4 configuration tag exist only in a specific Workspace? and it can not be reused across Workspaces?

If yes, What should I do now please? should I create another new Google Analytics 4 configuration tag?

2# By the way, there is a description in Step 0:

Enter your?Google Analytics 4 measurement ID?(also known as web stream ID)

But when I check Admin-Data Streams, there are both STREAM ID and MEASUREMENT ID, and please check the screenshot:

    https://prnt.sc/uSJtmtKOnmmT

So, does that mean Stream ID and Meaurement ID are two values now, and Google update GA4 after your tutorial was published?

    Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks, and have a great day.

I also have problem to setup GA4 following the tutorial article. May I ask when you downloaded the GA4 container template, did you add any value/Information to the template, before you import it to your Google tag manager? For example AccountID, ContainerID, ContainerVersionID.
