Confusing filter input

I wanted to add filters – to hide a billing field based on the product in the cart. It is not clear how to add a product in the “filter by product” input.

I tried writing a product ID, and tried writing a full product name, but the field just reset to empty every time I clicked away. Only later a I realized that both ID and name (or even partial name) would do, but I have to press [Tab] or [Enter] after writing it. Clicking away by the mouse was what did not work.

Also, if I write the product name partially, or the name fits for more than one actual product, I have no way of selecting what I need. Upon pressing [Tab] or [Enter], the plugin just selects one of the products that somehow match the written name.
