Confusing menu options

  • If I choose to see the hamburger-menu on mobile, if I open it I see all the menu and sumbenu items opened at the same time (see picture). Or am I missing something?
    In twenty seventeen you only saw the main menu items by clicking on the burger-icon. And if you clicked the aroow the submenus showed. Is this possible in twenty-four also?

    I would really like to switch to twenty-four, but those stupid menu-options for mobile are withholding me. Really a shame. Why not include a normal style mobile menu?

    It seems that this is the same problem as in the twenty-three theme. Is that so? I don’t understand. Promoted as fully customizable theme, but one of the most important aspects, the mobile menu structure, is not customizable?

    Hi folks – for what it is worth – better control of the mobile menu, as a separate template part, is something that is in progress.

    But that handling of the menu is something that is a part of the overall full Site Editing experience – which is why you see it in both 2023 and 2024 themes.

    So improvements are coming!
