    I thought I was already a VaultPress subscriber. Anyway, I re-subscribed and I still receive this message. ? (Also, following the links associated with this message asks me to subscribe to Akismet, ditto)

    Hey Vicki!

    Is the VaultPress plugin installed and activated on the site you’re getting this message?

    Sometimes, even if you are a VP member, if VaultPress isn’t activated on your site, Jetpack doesn’t know you’re a member.

    If VaultPress is installed, activated, and linked to your account, I can have someone take a look for you!

    As far as I can tell, yes, both Vault Press (and Akismet) installed and activated. When I go to my dashboard, I find them on the list of installed plugins and my choices are “deactivate,” which suggests they ARE activated and “edit.” It’s just worrisome for the site to ask me to protect my content, when I think I’ve done that. Now (Apr 8) I’m receiving messages to set up and register my VaultPress account. Have I bought redundant coverage?

    I verified with the VaultPress team that VaultPress is activated and working properly. You don’t need to worry about that message you saw. We’ll be looking into that bug!
