    Hi, Jeff!

Can you, please, specify more strictly, including in the plugin itself, for what is the URL field? For now we have three different names in three different locations, so this is confusing. One unique name will be better. And what is the recommended use of this field?

In the front-end form we see a “Your URL” field:
    Frontend - Your URL

In the Plugin Settings > Form Fields we see a “Post URL” field:
Form Fields – Post URL” />

In the Plugin Settings > Registered Users we see a “User Profile URL” field:
Registered Users – User Profile URL” />

Glad to help. As you suspect all three of these items refer to the same thing: a field that can be used to collect a URL from the user. The URL is attached to the submitted post as a Custom Field, so you can use it for any purpose. So here is further infos:

    – “Your URL” field – this is the URL field displayed on the front-end, where the field addresses the user (hence the use of “Your URL” as the label)

    – “Post URL” setting – this is the plugin option to display the “Your URL” on the front-end (using “Your URL” for the option description may be a better choice here, but perhaps not)

    – “User Profile URL” setting – this refers to an option that is included on each user’s Profile page in the WP Admin Area. When enabled, this setting enables you to automatically use the user’s Profile URL as the value of the “Your URL” Custom Field.

I hope that helps to explain it. Let me know if anything is still confusing and I will do my best to help.

Jeff, I understand why you used the “User Profile URL” setting/field name and I think it is suggestive enough – this setting enables the user to use his Profile URL as the value of the “Your URL” field. This is OK. But the “Post URL” suggests that here is asked the URL of the submitted post :), maybe “Attached URL” or something similar will be a better choice. The same for the “Your URL” name – I suppose you want to keep it in line with other names (like “Your Name” and “Your Email”), but a name like “Attach an URL” can be more suggestive, and you can move it to the bottom of the form. Anyway, I like your plugin and, after your clear explanations, I can use it without problems in its current form. I think I will use it on my site that I’m working on right now. Thank you very much for your work!

P.S. You can mark this as resolved.

That is some very useful feedback, I appreciate your insights and taking the time to help improve USP. I will try to improve the clarity of the mentioned items for the next plugin update. Thank you ??
