• Dear WordPressers ??

I have some knowledge about html, php (websites creation as a whole) and understand coding fast. I am currently using WordPress for the first time and encountered a problem.

I will be as specific as possible:

My goal is to create a media content driven website. (User content sharing). A website in which people can look, comment and like on media but also login, have their own profile and also upload their own media.

Well for this I purchased a 9gag theme, the website 9gag is very similar to what I want to achieve.

As I am a new wordpress user, I got confused after getting wordpress and the theme running because of the following:

The theme allows external users to sign-up, log-in and upload. But when an external user clicks on login and sign up, he or she gets redirected to usual wp-login screen. (And this is not what I want of course).

Well in order to solve this problem, I looked for plugins and I somehow managed to link the sign up and login button to a different page at which people can sign up with a sign up form and login with a different log-in form than what wordpress normally offers.

At this point, everything was working and I thought everything was perfect because I also linked the upload media button to a different page which uploads posts easily without using the wordpress “post upload” page.

BUT Then I realised, when an external user logs in, there is still a wordpress header on the top of the web page and on the left side of the web page there is a wordpress panel. I don’t know if you guys get me but, when an external user is logged in, he or she is not to supposed to see any wordpress system anywhere.

I have been looking for solutions on the internet a lot but I got confused. I thought that maybe if I would change my wordpress directory to a sub directory, this problem would be solved but this time I made everything worse and I cannot access my website normally. Now I have to delete everything and install wordpress again, also implementing the database information again.

(In short what I want to achieve):

    – External users can login, sign up, post media, edit their accounts without seeing the wordpress system (The wordpress bar on the top of the screen and also on the left with its post options end edit profile options). (So actually like a normal website where people can register and login, edit their profile)

I have been searching for solutions a lot, I hope you could help me further.
