Dear Yoast Team,
I did an update of your plugin yesterday. Today I checked my backlinks and all my German starting page links are redirected with a conical link to my English one.
Not sure if that should be like that. What do you think – is that a bug? I mean you did not do this before, and I am not sure if this is helpful for my German page.

Can you give me a feedback on this please.

Please try these steps:
1. Install & activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin
2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations‘, ‘Reset Prominent words calculation‘, and ‘Reset Internal link counter‘ buttons. After each click, the page will reload to confirm that the specific reset was successful.
4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your content.
Please let us know if the reported issue remains after resetting the optimized data.

Have you reset the indexables data? Also ensure that you are running Yoast SEO 22.0

I am running Version 21.9.1? at the moment. I did reset the indexable data – should I do an update to 22.0 and try this again:
1. nstall & activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin
2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test

I just did it, but I can’t see any changes at all.

all have the <link rel=”canonical” href=”https://www.placesofjuma.com/” />

but I am not sure if that is useful.
