    Hi Team,

    I am new to WordPress.

There are lot of events from our old SQL data base, I converted the field names appropriately and imported the event list into the wp_spiderevents_calendar table. That did not reflect any change. On top of it, I found that, our site’s previous engineer had connected the “post_type – event” to the calendar form.

Now, my question, how do I connect the post “id” to gather the data from the calendar events? I have both the data in two tables “wp_posts” and “wp_spiderevents_calendar”.

Please help, I am trying my best here.

    Hi,

Please note that in the case of spider calendar the events are not custom types. You can use the Event calendar WD, the events of which are custom post types.

    Thanks. Have a nice day.

    Thanks Support team.

Can you please elaborate the difference between both the plugins?

Are you saying we have to buy the pro version to be able to connect the old data base migration?

    Thanks in advance.
    Vaithi.

    Hi,

Please note that the Event Calendar WD plugin is the more advanced plugin with a lot of useful functionality. The Spider Calendar WD is simpler than the Event Calendar WD. You can take a look at details here. Please note that you can use the free version.

    Thanks. Have a nice day.
