Connect to MSSQL Server from Php WordPress on Plesk?

Hello-

My wordpress instance is hosted on a Linux based Plesk server. I have the premium version of WP Data Access. It is fully setup and licensed correctly. I would like to be able to pull data from an MSSQL server on a different server into my site. I am not finding the way to add a remote database via MSSQL on the installation anywhere. I am very new, so sorry if this is easily available, but I am having a hard time finding the way to do this. I did create a premium data service connection and then selected in the drop down on the Explorer page, but I see an error that says “ERROR – Remote database rdb:wpdafree.youniquedata.com not available” when I select that DB from Explorer Thank you so much in advance!
