This is the second time I have set up a Give-WP account.

On the 1st time, I had to copy the keys from Stripe and move them over to Give-WP in WordPress. Everything worked fine and tested out and successfully went live.

This second time, I got something new doing the same thing, when I get to the point where I would enter the Stripe keys a window pops up asking to connect to Stripe. I was a little surprised at this, but it apparently worked okay. I went over to Stripe and it appeared that a connection was made, but when I attempted to TEST a transaction nothing happened. Stripe did not respond in any way. There was no ERROR or CONFIRMATION message. Give-WP showed the transaction, but when I went to Strip NOTHING WAS THERE. I verified and I was in TEST mode on Stripe and I was, but no TEST transactions were processed.

When I contacted Stripe they said I was not connected.

So, Give-WP must be lying to itself. It thinks it is connected when it is not.

Any ideas on what is happening here?

    Hi @richcb7,

    Happy to help you!

That’s a strange issue that I’ve never heard of. From my experience, I’d disconnect and reconnect it again.

Another option is to navigate to Donations > Advanced > Stripe and enable the use of the API Keys. After that, you can add the API keys and it should be working again.

    Hopefully, it works for you!

Please let us know if you have further questions on this or need any additional assistance!
