    Hello,

I would like to be able to connect 2 Woocommerce shops in 2 different WordPress sites to a single Mailchimp account.

    Is this possible?

The first site is in one language and the second one in another, since it is possible to conditionally set up automated emails I guess it is possible to do that but I would like to have a validation before.

    Thanks in advance.

@cackto yes you can most certainly connect 2 stores to your Mailchimp account. If you run into any issues setting that up, please feel free to reach out with a specific issue and we’ll help you get things handled.

    Hello Ryan,

    Thanks for your answer.

Do you confirm me also that I will be able to select a specific product, having the same name, correctly on the 2 WordPress websites, when configuring the trigger for an automated email after a client purchase?

    Thanks again.

    Hello again Ryan,

I’m currently getting a complementary response from Mailchimp teams who tell me a little bit more.

I quote part of their answer:

“The store can only be connected to one audience at a time. The best resolution here is actually to set-up a second store to connect another audience. I’d be happy to provide steps on how to do that if you’d like as well!”.

Currently I’m having an audience with 2 tags for the language identification, and I want to ship 2 automated emails to those people classified into the 2 tags.

Will it be possible or will it be a problem?

    Thanks in advance.

@cackto Sorry if I misunderstood your initial question – but you had asked if you can connect 2 stores to your Mailchimp account. The answer to that is YES, but you would need most likely want to have 2 separate lists, so that the customers would be segmented properly. 1 store -> 1 list -> all products would be available for that specific store and you’re all good.

Is there an issue that I’m not aware of that you’re being forced to use a single list?

The tagging feature is also good to use – you may also add custom tags if need be by using our filter which can be referenced here.
