Connecting MailChimp to email

How do I connect my subscription or sign-ups of those interested on my post from my site?
I have tried using MailChimp, I’ve gotten the API and even activated it, but it doesn’t seem to work reason because even after doing all I’m required to do, I tried signing up as an interested user, instead of responding with a “Thank you for subscribing”, it doesn’t even submit the email, rather it shows me “Please select at least one list”.
Please, any solution on this or any other option of a mail service I can use for my subscriptions and newsletters?

The mailchimp plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/ is the easiest in my opinion. Unless you are trying to code it yourself.
