Connecting MS Word

What do you mean “connect”?
Word is a program that runs on your computer, editing local files.
WordPress has its own editor on your site, where the content is stored in a database, not files.

You can write in Word and then copy/paste it into the WordPress editor, if you want.

In Word, there is a blog template, in that you can write a blog and publish it to WordPress. You must register (connect) Word to your WordPress to do that. I go through the process, enter URL, username, and password. It gives me an error and will not connect.

I get it can’t connect unavailable but when I go to the URL it works say’s can take posts.
