Connecting plugin doesn’t connect

Let’s go over some steps, just to confirm you’re seeing what we are for the connection process.

1. Click the “Connect Now” link in the submenu, which leads you to a url like so: https://staging2.samsellsabq.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=ctct_forms&page=ctct_options_connect
2. You click the blue “Connect Plugin” button on the right.
3. It leads you to a separate login page at https://login.constantcontact.com/login/?goto=https://oauth2.constantcontact.com/oauth2/oauth/login?response_type=code&wb=false&oauthflow=true and prompts you to log in to your Constant Contact account.
4. Once you submit your Constant Contact account credentials, you’re redirected back to https://staging2.samsellsabq.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=ctct_forms&page=ctct_options_connect again, but this time it simply has an “Account connected” heading and a “Disconnect” button on the right?

Anything from that quick steps different for what you’re experiencing?

Nope, after Step 4, it takes me back to https://www.samsellsabq.com, Not the staging2.samsellsabq.com….. page.

Hmm, definitely not completing all the steps needed to get it authenticated. I am not seeing staging2.samsellsabq in available logs for this authentication process, but I do see about 4 or 5 entries for the production/live site. The question is why is it not redirecting back to the appropriate site after the login.

If needed, which it may be, are you willing to take the conversation off the public forums here to further debug what’s going on at a deeper level?

If it is easier to take off line, sure, lets do that.
but be sure to post the solution for others.

Hello Michael, I have sent a couple of emails, and I am not sure you are getting them. Let me know.

Michael says he hasn’t seen any new replies come in since his initial response. He says he replied again yesterday to see if any new changes had occurred, but that’s all he has.

So something definitely isn’t coming through like expected.
