Connecting Smugmug via Photonic

Could someone provide step-by-step instructions for doing this? All I want to do is display some thumbnails from a Smugmug gallery on the homepage of my WordPress web site, that can be enlarged for better viewing. If Photonic is not the optimal way to do this, please advise. I’ve tried everything I can think of and the page remains blank.
