    When trying to connect to Instagram I get: Sign up failed. Please check your login.

    I have reset the password in Instagram, logged out and back in to Instagram, and this still occurs. I have not received any text/email verification that may be required on Instagram’s end either.

    Thank you in advance for suggestions on how to correct this.

    Please log into your Instagram app on your mobile phone to see if there are any security messages you need to confirm. Please also make sure that the 2-factor-authentication for your Instagram account is disabled. Post at least one image from your mobile phone to Instagram to make sure that this works.

    If you connect Instagram with Blog2Social, Instagram might report that a server from Germany by Cologne area is trying to access your account. This is due to the fact that the Blog2Social server is located there. It’s just a security notice to make sure the access is safe. Please confirm the access with ‘That was me’, so that you can connect Instagram to Blog2Social.

    Afterward, please follow these steps exactly to connect Instagram:
    Delete all connection to Instagram in Blog2Social using the trash icon.
    Please log into Instagram in a private/incognito window in your browser. Make sure to type username and password by hand, do not copy it. If you can get a connection in this window, log out of Instagram there and in every other window as well as on your pc and mobile. There cannot be an ongoing connection to Instagram.

    Afterward, try to connect Instagram again in Blog2Social. Please make sure to type and not copy username and password.

    I posted an image to instagram from my iphone fine. I then logged out. I tried to connect blog2social to instgram both with my pc logged out and then logged into instagram. Both continue to give the Sign up failed. Please check your login. error message. This seems so simple. I’m perplexed at the moment. I’m using the proper sign in and password to try and make the connection.

    Please send your Instagram name and the time you last tried to connect Instagram to Blog2Social as well as a screenshot of the message you get when you try to connect to customer-service(at)blog2social(dot)com and out IT will get back to you.
