I am using WP 4.1, with Twenty Thirteen Theme as the default theme, but because I am building sales pages I am overriding that theme to use Profit Builder on selected pages.

I am getting an error message:

“Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.”

I believe it is related to a plugin I am using… Viral Quiz Builder.

    I’m wondering 2 things:

    1. Is this just a nuisance message, as it appears that I am able to save things on the page? Should I be concerned about this?
    2. Is there is a way to resolve the conflict and get rid of the message?

I am a non-techie, but am willing to attempt simple cut and paste solutions!

And of course, the only reason this cropped up is because I am behind on a client deadline, so I’d very much appreciate any assistance you can provide!

Thanks Tara. I wasn’t able to find the appropriate place to do that, so I think I’m going to have to find someone to do it for me. If this is just a nuisance message, I’ll worry about it later. Should I be concerned?

you may want to contact the “Profit Builder” developers.

Thanks Tara, I’ve contacted all the parties involved to try and find a solution. Thanks for your suggestions.

Hello… having the same issue with WP 4.1 on a 123eHost WordPress website. I cannot do the necessary testing as this is live membership website and cannot be taken down for any length of time.

Every time I see the issue, I let the hosting company know… they cannot never see an issue. It has become increasingly annoying and I cannot get the most simplest updates done. It happens more often after updating and trying to PREVIEW the page or post.

Not sure what to do or where to tell them the issue resides. But it is definitely a HOSTING SERVER issue.

Please can someone provide me with some suggestions!!!

My suggestion would be to start your own thread to get full attention to your specific issue.

Despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue is likely to be completely different because of possible differences in physical servers, accounts, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc. Thus one problem, on one setup is not indicative of the functionality and reliability of an application as a whole. So, to get the best attention to your specific issue as you deserve, please review how and where to post in this forum: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Where_To_Post

I haven’t gotten this resolved yet, but as it isn’t actually preventing me from updating pages, I’m going to let it go for now and mark this resolved. Thanks for your help Tara
