Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected.

Hi:

I am running the latest WP (Version 3.9.1). Tonight I continually get the message: “Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected.” This has been going on for a few weeks. I repaired my database twice tonight, but the problem won’t go away. Sometimes the connection is re-established and I can save my work. Other times I have to leave WordPress, log back in, and recover the autosave of the document. I have disabled all plugins that I don’t use.
