    Almost immediately after installing CCF plugin I got this notice:

    Connection lost. Saving has been disabled until you’re reconnected. We’re backing up this post in your browser, just in case.

    I tested on two different websites: one on siteground, one on wpengine. Same thing.

    However, at least on wpengine site, this error doesn’t seem to be valid. What I mean is I still can publish and update pages and posts.

    Still, it’s annoying. What could be the issue?

  • I can also confirm I’m experiencing the same “connection lost” error since I updated CCF from 1.3.7 to 1.4.0 recently, in addition to the broken confirmation email which no longer contains the subscriber’s details. The latter bug is, of course, the more serious of the two.

    Looking forward to a speedy release of 1.4.1 to fix both bugs!

    We have confirmed and also tracked down the source of the issue for the missing email details.

    We plan to get that, plus the CSS issue, and a couple other small detail/enhancement adjustments in a 1.4.1 release. Target time for this is some time tomorrow, October 8th.

    Please update to version 1.4.1, when you have a moment. It should be resolved in that release, as well as some other items.

    Hello I have the same error message and have not been able to resolve it
    I have checked through all the responses and I dont have a plug in constant contact on my site like some of the other people here. I am at a loss for what to do.
    Can you help?

    Not sure there’s much we can do for you @glynconlon especially if you’re not using our plugin at all. Perhaps it’s a legit situation where your browser/computer is losing connectivity at times. It may also be a different plugin that is unintentionally revealing the UI like we accidentally did.
