    The connection was reset.
    Try:
    Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall

  • Hi
This might be a browser specific issue.
Can you try the same operation in another browser and post the results.
If it is the same in another browser you might try resetting your internet options as follows:
    Open Control Panel.
    Select Network and Internet.
    Click Internet Options.
    Go to the Advanced tab.
    Click Reset.
    Click Apply, then OK.

Thanks for the respond. I don’t think it’s the Browse/Network issues. Cause the WP backend pages are all functional. I can do any other option saving, plugins installation etc. Only when i’m trying to save the post or page, then it shows up this error.

I have tried other network or PC, i still get the same error.

Have you tried disabling the plugins and changing to a default themes?
That would eliminate a couple of common causes of such issues.

Done all the above. None of it helps. I have checked within the cpanel’s error logs and get the following message.

“PHP Warning: DOMDocument::loadXML(): Empty string supplied as input in /home/interpacassetcom/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bootstrap-3-shortcodes/bootstrap-shortcodes.php on line 2088”

But like i said, i have totally disable the mentioned plugins, even all… The error still persist.

Could a server firewall blocking the update somehow?

    Hi again
This post is about a similar problem and the only way he got it to work was using a different hosting environment so maybe it is something to do with how your host is set up.
Can you ask your hosting service or are you hosting it on your own server?

Yeah, my client hosting it on their own server. As they don’t have anyone who are eligible to set up an hosting environment server. It has been taking sometimes to put the site up and get some tools installed.

So, based on the above mentioned issue. What could we have missed if the case as above happen?

    Hello,

    Check your php version…
I had similar problem and php 7 resolve it.
    I was on php 5.6 before…

I’m getting the same error: I already tested with chrome, firefox and edge; besides testing it on different computers; I work on laragon, php 7.1 and windows 10

The same result in several WordPress installations, I think it’s a worpress bug
