    Hi all,

I was wondering: every time someone visits one of my two WordPress sites, my httpd tries to create an UDP connection with 85.25.252.106 on port 8000.

I have installed (and activated) the following plugins:

    • akismet
    • WPsyslog
    • WP-Shortstat
    • Wassup

In a tcpdump I discovered that the IP address of the visited client is transmitted through that connection.

Does anyone know what purpose this serves?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

    Peter
