• Hi,

I’m trying to install the pixel by following all the easy steps. When arriving at the end, the pop-up just close and I have an infinite “Connection pending”. Same problem on other browser.

I also tried a non official plugin. The pixel seems to be active but I don’t receive any information in the Meta events manager. Also it’s slowed my website so much.

Tried to contact Meta but they told me to ask this forum…

    Thanks for your help.

    Joris

Thanks for your patience. From investigation, we discovered that this happens when you close the pop up at the end of the flow. Instead, you should click on the Done button. We are working in UI changes to improve this experience.

@facebook I have definitely clicked on the done button. tried several times without success

    Same here, since months.

Also used the done button. Tried everything.

Same Problem here…tried changing PHP Version and different Logins. Always gets stuck and “pending”

The “WordPress App” is shown as “Active” in my facebook settings – Business Integrations.

When I open the settings of the connected business account –>integrations –> connected apps I also see the “WordPress App”, I can see what Information is shared (everything), but it also says “WordPress App can not manage Information from [my business account]. Please contact WordPress App”…

Yeah still the same issue with the “done” button.

But for a reason the pixel seems to be active on my Meta Event Manager even if I uninstal the Meta Pixel plugin.

@facebook @calemotion Why is this marked as resolved?

@1chris2023, @calemotion is it possible to record and share your screen as you go through the setup. This will help us further understand and try to reproduce the issue.

@facebook I will do that. Where do you want me to upload the result?

@facebook Please answer, where do you want me to upload the result?

I am also having this issue. I have tried deactivating/removing plugin and adding again, going through setup steps many times… nothing.

Seems to install correctly, and then when going through setup “Get Started” it lets me select the Business Manager Account, Facebook Page, Instagram Account, Pixel, Ad Account and confirms the connection. I have tried clicking “done” or letting it close, then just hangs on “Connection pending” with the animated graphic like it’s working. I’ve let it sit for minutes, hours, even overnight – and nothing.

Anyone have any luck with any other processes/solutions here?

Like everyone in here I have also the same problem. I have is on two sites, both Versie 3.0.13

    I have the same problem.

I go to the end of the installation without any errors.

After completing, and entering the configuration page again, it appears as if the integration had never been done.

The Facebook panel shows the integration there, done successfully.

It’s been a long time and this error has no response from the Facebook team?

I discovered the problem, at least for me ??

I am a full administrator user, I created a user for my client level: editor.

The client made the connection, completed the configuration, the integration was added to the Meta panel, but it was not saved in the WordPress panel.

I had the idea of changing the client’s user to full administrator, deleting the integration in the meta panel, and asking the client to connect again.

It worked on the first try.

I think the plugin has a bug regarding user groups.
