Using https://tagassistant.google.com/ I can see that consent is blocked after I accept the cookie notice.

I use ‘Google Analytics for WooCommerce’ and the plugin is detected by Complianz under Integrations > Plugins

I have set: Wizard > Consent > Statistics > Do you compile statistics of this website? > Yes, with Google Analytics. There is no ‘statistics configuration’ page – maybe because I have the Google Analytics for WooCommerce plugin?

Your guide https://complianz.io/simplified-guide-to-google-consent-mode-v2/ talks about setting up the integration in google tag manager – do I need to do this or does the Google Analytics for WooCommerce plugin take care of this?

    Thanks for any next steps

Look like consent for EU requires a paid for license especially since Google have tightened consent controls in Spring 2024.

    Hello @farlington ,

I’m sorry for the late reply. Thank you for updating the thread, I hope this will help other users.

    Thank you again!

@antoiub I am also facing similar issue. Does that mean Free version wont work on EU/EEA for google consent mode v2 for WooCommerce sites?

Is one site licence enough for it.

    Thanks

    Hello @whatsdd,

the free version of the plugin implements the prior blocking which is required by GDPR, but if you want also the Consent Mode (which is requested by Google and not by GDPR) then you’ll need to buy one of our license since the Consent Mode is a paying feature.
