Consent Screen shows on each post (for some users)

  • I’ve had a German user complaint about the following:

    since some days I get annoying information everytime I visit every page. Please configure the page correctly. Thank you.

    I can’t reproduce the issue using a VPN for UK / Netherlands. If I accept or decline the consent screen does not show up anymore. What could cause this issue?

    I asked more details to the visitors, but I can reproduce the issue if I block cookies in Chrome. If that’s the case the consent popup/banner will show for each page.

    Since we’re not going to store any Cookies when people do that, would it be possible to disable the consent pop-up when cookies are blocked?

The scenario you described above, with cookies disabled is likely what is happening with your user as Quantcast Choice will set cookies to manage and propagate consent signals to publishers, advertisers, and vendors pursuant to the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework and its associated policies and specifications.

    Our team has been discussing on the best solution to handle the situation where users have cookies disabled.
