Hi! I am experiencing some errors when your plugin is activated on my site. Whenever I am trying to upload a photo I am getting these errors in the console (_.plusk is not a function, this, activateMode is not a function, _.contains is not a function). If I deactivate your plugin, the errors are disappearing and I can upload the photos. The error appears not only on the ACF Pro fields but also on the default WordPress photos uploader. I have installed the latest version also of WordPress, also of Yoast SEO Plugin.

    Hi @christosgan

We’re sorry to hear that you’re encountering these issues when trying to upload a photo on your website. Could you provide us with more details and screenshots on exactly how to reproduce this issue? Do we just try to upload a photo in the Media section in WordPress?

We understand you are using the latest version of WordPress 5.7.2, Yoast SEO 16.7. Please do check if the rest of your plugins and themes are updated, and you are meeting the necessary plugin requirements.

We do know that Yoast SEO and ACF should be compatible with each other – https://yoast.com/yoast-seo-supports-advanced-custom-fields-acf/

Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict, is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.

Please test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

The problem occurs only when I am trying to upload a photo on the WordPress dashboard. The problem occurs when Yoast SEO is activated. So, we have to find a solution for continuing using the plugin.

Thanks for your confirmation. We are sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with Yoast SEO.

We are afraid to say that we were unable to reproduce the issue on our end while using Yoast SEO v16.7 and WordPress v5.8. So, please make sure that you’re running the latest version of everything on your site.

In addition, please confirm whether you have performed the full conflict by following the steps given above.
