"Console is undefined" error in IE8

    In IE8 (on XP) I get the following error:

    'console' is undefined
jquery-colorbox-wrapper-min.js
Code: 0, Line: 1, Char: 915
/wp-content/plugins/jquery-colorbox/js/jquery-colorbox-wrapper-min.js?ver=Bd0d07ea2321ffce305

    This error blocks the remaining JS on the page from loading, and also it seems stops Colorbox from working.

    Is there a solution for this problem?
