Constant "Bad Link" Email

  • Ever since the new version of WP was launched I have been receiving a series of emails to my inbox. The contents of the email is below:

    A user tried to go to https://earncashtodayforbeginners.com/wp-content/plugins/follow-button-for-jetpack/plus.png and received a 404 (page not found) error.
    It wasn’t their fault, so try fixing it. They came from https://earncashtodayforbeginners.com/
    Here is a little more information about their system. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/24.0.1312.57 Safari/537.17 And their IP Address is: 68.213.143.252

    I have no idea why I am constantly getting this. It was not happening before the new update of WP. I tried deactivating the plugin and it stopped, but I need this plugin to work. This is the only site I am having this issue as I use this plugin on a few other of my sites. Is there an update coming out for this plugin to be compatible with the new version of WP?

    Or is there something I need to do to make these emails stop? I get more than 30 of them a day and it’s rather annoying. PLEASE HELP!!!

  • Did you check out the screenshot and activate your email subscriptions? Go to your feedburner, click on the Publicize tab, click on email subscriptions in the left sidebar, and activate.

    Sorry if you already knew all this. I’m new to Word Press and i just figured all that ^ out today! lol
