@chevyfixr We remove the admin notice once a site owner has visited the debugging page, but if a new error occurs again, then it’ll return again.
For both of you, we have two options in mind here.
Option 1:
Log in to the server and create a server-writeable directory inside wp-content
named ctct-logs
and then a file in that directory named constant-contact-errors.log
. Once those are created, verify that the original “We are not able to write…” error no longer shows when visiting the Debugging page again.
Option 2:
Since we’re seeing this originally mentioned error with more frequency, we’re looking to move where we try to store logs to the uploads folder. Below I have a copy of the plugin linked to that has these logging changes in place. It would take over for your current copy of Constant Contact Forms, but you shouldn’t lose any created forms by doing so. If you go with this option, you’d want to get it uploaded and then visit the Support tab to turn off debugging briefly and then re-enable the setting to hopefully get the new location created and writable automatically for you.

Regardless of which option you pick, once things are finally set up and ready, it’d be a waiting game for something to potentially happen again. We’re not going to be able to determine the previous issue instances. We appreciate the willingness to help test things, if you choose option 2.
