So far I have spent about 4 hours trying to make this plugin work. It’s the worst plugin I’ve installed on over 20 sites that I manage.

I just installed the latest version, 1.3.1 this morning and it won’t accept the origin address I enter.

So I went to USPS and validated the address, copied the address USPS gave me including the full ZIP code and it STILL gives me INVALID ADDRESS.

    Dumb.

    UPDATE:

I managed to get this to work, finally, by exiting and then returning to the label processing at which time it had stored my ‘invalid’ origin address and seemed to think it was OK (my guess is that it wasn’t checking).

The system needs to allow the shipper to select the packaging. I created a number of different packages and it wouldn’t allow me to select one, having made its own (incorrect) selection.

Other than that the label printing proceeded OK.

    Hi there!

I’m sorry to hear of the trouble you had with the Invalid Address error. This isn’t something we’ve come across before.

If you’d like us to investigate further, would you mind opening a ticket here please?

    https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/?

Select WooCommerce on the left and then the WooCommerce Services Extension in the top field.

There we can ask for more private/sensitive information (we don’t want that displayed here!) and attempt to replicate this on our test sites using your settings.

    Regarding your latest comment:

The system needs to allow the shipper to select the packaging. I created a number of different packages and it wouldn’t allow me to select one, having made its own (incorrect) selection.

You should be able to pack items however you want for a label. Could you provide more information on exactly what the issue is and what you need to do? Feel free to add that to the private ticket above too if you want to keep everything in one place, or we can try to help here.

    Thanks!

    Hello @rabh!

We’ve just pushed a fix to our service related to validating addresses – I think it may have been the issue you ran into.

Certain types of addresses were causing a false “invalid” result, like ones at a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CRMA). For example, a UPS Store mailbox.

While those addresses can’t be 100% confirmed by the post office, we are now allowing them for label printing.

Hopefully this resolves your issue. Have a good one!
