Hey Austin, first and foremost I’d like to say thanks on this amazing plugin AND the great effort you do to keep it that way. You’d be surprised at how many plugin authors create a gem and abandon the upkeep and maintenance.

But anyway, i am using the latest wordpress and latest ver. of the custom login plugin. I am experiencing two major bugs tho:

    1. The plugin is in constant need to require me to login after every one or two refresh of page. (I have not yet checked if this also occurs on the front end.)

    2. I was constantly hitting the “update settings” and checking progress through the live preview and an open tab of my login page but the after i deselected the activate check box i can no longer activate it again. The “update settings” act as a refresh button. (I have tried deleting cookies and deactivating the plugin – both a no go)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

For anybody who are having these issues, i found a rather easy solution. I am not exactly sure of the cause but the way to resolve the “constant logins” is to simply uninstall the plugin. I have w3 cache so i also cleared the page cache afterwards. I’d recommend clearing your cache through your browser if you don’t have w3 cache plugin. After reinstalling i noticed the constant login requests had stopped.

As for the inability to activate and save the settings. I manually went in and removed any css/html code i had in the boxes below the settings. I also deleted all the above settings as well. After you cleared everything, the settings and the css(and etc) codes below it, make sure the dropdown menus are back to “none”. Untick the activate and gavatar checkbox, and hit save. It should save at this point as mines did..Now go back and create your login, tick activate and save and all should be chillin’
