Constant problems with 4.9.2

    The events plugin 4.9.2 has had constant problems since installing it with WordPress 5.2.1
    About 20 hours worth of man hours have been spent trying to debug.
    Shame the announcement of the release of 4.9.2 has had the comments turned off.

    Rolling back the WP version fixes the problem but I need to update WP to keep it secure. And not updating WP is not a long term solution to a bad plugin.

    What are support options for this plugin?
    I’ve lodged a ticket and tagged it as urgent but hours have gone my with no response.
    I have a large amount of content tied to this plugin but happy to migrate to a new plugin if someone can suggest a better events plugin?
    Does anyone know of a better plugin – happy to purchase a better plugin.
