I have the rename login page option checked along with blocking unusual login attempts.

The problem is that almost in every second try, I’m getting the message ‘Error: Access from your IP address has been blocked…’ and then there’s an entry with the IP address 127.0.0.1 in the Login Lockdown section which I have to unlock/delete.

That lets me login but the problem re-occurs after that. I’ve been constantly fighting with this for the past week or so.

Please suggest a fix. The plugin has become unusable for me otherwise.

    I hope you understand. Thanks.

This is happening especially when I have the ‘Instantly Lockout Invalid Usernames’ feature checked as the username it is picking up with 127.0.0.1 is ‘admin’, although I am not entering this username at all.

Hi, do you have any other security plugin installed? Have you whitelisted your IP address? Do you have the captcha setting enabled for the login screen? Are you using Cloudflare or similar services? Do you use a cache plugin in your site?

    Kind regards
