  • for such a fresh install, you already have structural errors affecting your validation (and consequently your page display).

Might want to look into those, and bookmark that link so you can refer back to it (it will be indispensable).

You can see the result of those errors by viewing your site in IE6 – if you interested.

I’m working on those now. Thanks. I try to make sure my sites a valid html. Having a bit more trouble than usual though because for some reason I can’t find the errors in my code, only in my source. Anyway, thanks for the advice its much appreciated.

    Anything?

I’d say add more contrast to it. It feels like it needs something that is “dark” or “light”. As it is now it’s all just muted “in-between” shades. The colors are good, but they’re too close in hue and value.

Also, what about adding more texture? The photo at the top is nice, but the rest of the site is smooth.

I think the text needs to either be a little darker or emboldened. It’s more or less a strain to read. The setup and pastels look good, though.

the main text definitely needs to be darker. low contrast is hard to read, especially in big blocks of text like you have.

I really like the header though as said before the text and every other thing except from header may need to be darker. you could get some great stuff by playing with header colors and the ones you’re using now, some nice backgrounds, that’d look great!

I’ll be around too see what news you’ve got!
    Soo, keep up!
