Contact DB edit of cell content does not save and show

This can happen when there are duplicate entries for the same fields in the database. You edit one of the entries but the other one is still there and it gets displayed. Do you have the latest version of the editor (1.2.2)? I put in some code to try to auto-correct that.

One thing you could try is take a backup of the form data then re-import it.
– Contact Form DB -> Import page
– Backup section, export a backup of your form
– to test, re-import it but give the it a different form name
– try to edit that new form and see if the problem is fixed there.

If that looks good you can
– Verify your export file has all the data (if you have large data sets then WP can run out of memory and not give you everything)
– Delete all your form data
– Re-import the data from the backup.

Thanks for the fast response…. I am getting no joy. I am running most recent version of plugin and WP. I backed up the DB form in question. Got message that 645 rows were processed. I looked at the file and all records were there. Then Imported file to new form DB name. Got only two records to display. One of the two was the record with the cell I wanted to edit. I edited it and saved. That worked. Went out of new form db opened another unrelated db, then closed it and reopened the new name DB. The edit was there and stable. I could delete the records in the db that was not accepting the cell edit, but i hesitate because I am only seeing 2 records display after an import and I know 645 records are in the import file. My internet connection sucks.. but should i worry that i only see 2 or 645 records after an import? Or just do it and bite my nails
